Terms of Use
1. The service
Pheelo matches you into small groups of people who share an interest and helps the group pick a time and public venue to meet. You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information about yourself, including your gender for group placement. These terms are the end user license agreement (EULA) for the Pheelo iOS app.
2. Community rules and zero tolerance
Pheelo has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. This includes harassment, hate, threats, sexual content or advances, impersonation, misrepresenting your identity or gender to enter a grouping pool, commercial solicitation, and any use of the app to endanger others. We may remove content and suspend or permanently remove accounts, without notice, at our sole discretion. Reported content is reviewed and acted on within 24 hours; physical-safety reports are prioritized ahead of everything else.
3. Your content
You own what you write. You give us a limited license to store, display to your group, and process it to run the service. You can delete your messages, and chat is automatically deleted 90 days after a meetup. Report any member or message from the member card, chat, or check-in screens; blocking is instant and permanent.
4. Meetups happen in the real world
Pheelo arranges meetups in public venues only, but the meetups themselves are between you and other members. Use judgment, share plans with a friend (the app has a one-tap share for this), and leave any situation that feels wrong. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pheelo is not responsible for the conduct of members or third parties, online or offline.
5. What costs money
Your first meetup is free. After that, joining a meetup costs a one-time Meetup Pass ($1.99), a consumable purchase that covers that entire meetup, or you can subscribe to Pheelo Plus ($12.99/month) for unlimited meetups plus mixed-gender groups, the Deeper Matching assessments, and Group Ideas. Both are billed through your Apple ID. Plus renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules. Matching, group chat, and planning themselves are never paywalled: passes and Plus gate how many meetups you join, not whether the app works.
6. Account termination
You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Account → Delete account). We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. Safety-related enforcement records survive account deletion in minimal form.
7. Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee matches, group formation, attendance by other members, or any particular outcome. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; where prohibited, they do not apply.
8. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. We may update them; material changes get in-app notice before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
